1. When I listen to music, the type of song determines my thought process. For example, when I listen to an upbeat song, it makes me motivated. Certain songs remind me of something that has happened, they either make me sad or happy. I also listen to neutral music that just allows me to mindlessly relax. Listening to music is relaxing for me and provides entertainment, I wish I could say that there is a song that has touched my life, but for me music is just a means of entertainment.
2. My favorite song is Landslide by the Dixie Chicks because I remember singing it with my mom when I was little and it was on my summer playlist, so it brings back so many memories from the summer. I just love the message of the song.
7. Without music, my life would be boring and unfulfilling. I don't know how I would make it through long homework sessions without the help of Pandora. Music just makes life more bearable and enjoyable. I know when I am having a bad day I can listen to a song and my mood will be better for 3.25 minutes.

What if the world is just a tiny speck on flower?
What if aliens exhist and they know about us, but we don't know about them?

What if humans had hands for feet and feet for hands?
What if our dogs can comprehend English and judge us all the time?

Famous Lines from Famous Books

The line is from the novel "City of Glass" which was published in the year 1985, by the author, Paul Auster, who was born in 1947. This author is also known for other works, including "New York Trilogy" and "Moon Palace".
The book "City of Glass" illustrates the story of half human, half angel beings. Clary must embark on an adventure to find the key which is holding her mother captive. She joins forces with her brother, Jace, in order to defeat their father, Valentine. Valentine does has been collecting weapons of mortal combat in order to gain power, making their task more difficult.

She quickly falls in love with Ashley, who must marry is his second cousin, due to tradition. When Scarlet discovers the news, she is overwhelmed with jealousy, she never recovers from losing Ashley. She marries a man for his money and gets all of the things she could ever dream of, but never appreciates anything because she can not get over her love of Ashley. Reading Isn't My Forte
The Book that has impacted my life is Sophie's World. It made learning about Philosophy interesting and easier to understand. I tried reading books such as Plato's Republic, which was interesting, but hard to follow because it was not written in recent times. Sophie's World made me reflect on the questions of life and the world and why things happen. Several quotes that made me ponder and were well written were:
"Wisest is she who knows she does not know."
We can't know everything, many of the ideas we have accepted are true are based on theories, there are so many unknown facts about the earth.
“You can never know if a person forgives you when you wrong them. Therefore it is existentially important to you. It is a question you are intensely concerned with. Neither can you know whether a person loves you. It’s something you just have to believe or hope. But these things are more important to you than the fact that the sum of the angles in a triangle is 180 degrees. You don't think about the law of cause and effect or about modes of perception when you are in the middle of your first kiss.”

Vivid Memories: Southern Gentleman
Sitting on the boat dock and he's teaching me how to cast the fishing pole. We aren't saying much, but it's just being with eachother. And it's so peaceful, I keep thinking I wish I could just live in this moment of complete serenity and no worries. I just feel content when he's around. We didn't catch any fish, but he looked so cute when he got excited over a nibble.
I want so much more out of our relationship, but he's too much of a gentle man to make a move. Every now and then I'll catch him looking at me and it makes my heart melt. And when he catches me smiling at him he'll say "What?!" and roll his deep blue, need you eyes. He knows I can't resist him. He sings as we sit there and I have no idea how such a beautiful, soft voice can come out of such a rustic and masculine man. I hold back the words, "I love you" because I know that we can never be together because he resides in Texas and once the summer is over I'll have to leave my southern gentleman.

Dream Threads
"I was out of breath, crying my eyes out." Everyone was panicing. We've had so many drills to prepare for something like this to happen, but you never really know how yo're going to react until it happens to you. In this moment, all of my problems seem so small and life is so precious. A man has selfishly taken children who have not fulfilled their destiny out of this world. All I can think about is if I will be next, or if he shoots me, will it be a painful death? Then I hear gun shots down the hall and my worste nightmare is staring me in the face. "He is dark and absorbs light, so you can never get a good look at him."

Response to Maya Angelou
3. I agree with that statement, that talking about bad dreams gives them too much power. I think that by acknowledging the fact that a certain dream bothers us, we are allowing it to come back into our minds and haunt us. However, I do think that when a dream is unsettling, it helps to talk about it in hopes of understanding its true meaning.
4. I read somewhere that dreams are our repressed thoughts. As children, we are raised to think that things are wrong and unacceptable in society, when we think of something that is inappropriate it becomes a repressed thought because our brain believes it is unacceptable to think this way. However, in our sleep our brain is unable to repress our thoughts and our subconscious is revealed. I've found that my dreams don't always have a literal meaning, I have to interperete them. A dream that I am ashamed of that is really gross, but whenever I go on a date with someone that I'm not really sure if I have feelings for, I have a dream that I kiss my brother. The only meaning I can think of is that I look at that person like I look at my brother, I can't have feelings for them because that would be like having feelings for my brother. The situation is always awkward but it helps me to decide if I like someone or not.

I am Poem
The product of two loving parents. Someday, I hope to find someone who loves me just as much as my Daddy loves my Mom.
A total Daddy's girl. I think it is so sweet when my Dad is protective. I find comfort in my friendship with my Mom.
A big sister, I am very protective over my brothers, they will never be able to bring home a girl that I approve of. I strive to be the older sibling that I always wished for, I give them rides everywhere and give them advice in hope that they do not make the same mistakes that I have made.
